VENDOR INFORMATION |
|
All uses of marks, services and / or event name must be requested in writing The PD13 committee has many inquiries about vending for the
Friday the 13th events. This page is to give some idea of what is
required to become a vendor for the Friday the 13th and to remain
a vendor. Basic rules to follow: 1 - All vendors must apply to the PD13 committee for approval to attend our event. Send an e-mail to Lynn Sonnenberg our vendor contact with your company name, phone number, contact name, merchandise or food products you wish to sell. You may be added to a waiting list for future consideration or invited to attend our next event if a vendor from a past event can not attend or property becomes available to us. Vendors attending any event are based on a first come first served basis. 2 - Vendors attending the Friday the 13th events WILL NOT be allowed to sell any merchandise or products with the words "FRIDAY THE 13th" on it or the PD13 Logo. The PD13 logo is copyrighted. The copyright of our logo will be enforced at all events. No un-licensed brand name merchandise sales allowed. {IE: HARLEY-DAVIDSON ETC...} No derogatory or inflammatory merchandise sales allowed. 3 - All vendors attending our event will require a space provided by the PD13 committee. A 10X10 space is $400.00. The maximum depth of all lots is 10 feet. Wider lots will be provided only if space allows. All vendors must provide proof of exhibitor's insurance with general liability of not less than $2 million. You will require a peddlers license from Norfolk County (see link below). Food vendors also need a license and health inspection from Norfolk County. All vendors after securing an area must call Norfolk County at 519-426-5870, stop in at 50 Colborne Street South, Simcoe, ON., N3Y 4N5 or click here for licensing costs and requirements. If you've paid PD13 for a spot and on the day of the event you do not have proper licensing from the county, you are subject to a fine enforced by Bylaw. PD13 will not refund your payment for the lot due to your own negligence. 4 - Vendors setting up on private property must have written permission from the property owner. It must be within a commercially zoned area and will also require licensing from Norfolk County. Bylaw will ask for your permission slip and license. If neither can be produced, you could be subject to a fine. Again, contact the county to inquire about permits and requirements for private property vending. 5 - All vendors will be placed in a spot and must remain there for the duration of the event. If at any time you decide to move your booth to an alternate location, you will be told to shut down your booth and will not be invited back. Bylaw will have a list of locations from our committee where vendors are to be. If you are not where you should be, Bylaw may believe you have entered the event without permission, and may shut you down. The county will have a list of all the vendors that we have approved to attend our event. If your name is not on the list you will not have the opportunity to secure licensing from Norfolk County for the event. 6 - Please note: PD13 does not offer hydro, sewer, or water. This is a paved street area, therefore tent pegs are not allowed. 7 - PD13 will provide dumpsters for garbage disposal. Please take advantage of this service. 8 - PD13 assumes no responsibility for loss or damage. Rain or shine or {SNOW} no refunds... 9 - If you still have questions about our event, please forward an e-mail to Lynn Sonnenberg and she will do her best to answer them for you. Thanks for your interest in our event... PD13 Committee Home of "THE LARGEST MOTORCYCLE EVENT IN CANADA" |
