Friday the 13th, PD13, Port Dover PD13 with the logo are registered trademarks of the Corporation of Norfolk County and are used with their permission.
All uses of marks, services and / or event name must be requested in writing.
Basic information to follow:
1 - All vendors must apply to Port Dover Board of Trade, 19 Market St. W., Port Dover N0A 1N0 for approval to set-up in the Elmer Lewis Parking Lot (beside Giant Tiger). Send an e-mail to info@pd13.com with your company name, phone number, contact name, merchandise or food products you wish to sell. We will contact you. You may be assigned a vendor spot or added to a waiting list for future consideration or invited to attend our next event if a vendor from a past event cannot attend or additional property becomes available. Vendors attending any event are based on a first come, first served basis.
2 - Vendors attending the Friday the 13th events WILL NOT be allowed to sell any merchandise or products with the words "FRIDAY THE 13th" on it or the PD13 Logo without payment of a licensing fee. For current fees, email info@pd13.com . The PD13 logo is copyrighted and "Friday the 13th" is trademarked. This is enforced at all events. No unlicensed brand name merchandise sales allowed. {ie: HARLEY-DAVIDSON etc...}. No derogatory or inflammatory merchandise sales allowed.
3 - All vendors in the Elmer Lewis Parkette will require a space assigned by Port Dover Board of Trade. A 10 ft X 10 ft space is $500.00. The maximum depth of all lots is 10 feet. Wider lots will be provided only if space allows -- ensure you have written permission for a larger space before arriving. (Vendor spaces in Powell Park and Harbour Street are assigned by Port Dover Kinsmen Club.)
All vendors must provide proof of exhibitor's insurance with general liability of not less than $2 million.
You will require a peddler’s license from Norfolk County (see link below). Food vendors also need a license and health inspection from Norfolk County.
After securing an area, all vendors must call Norfolk County at 519-426-5870, visit 50 Colborne Street South, Simcoe, or click here for licensing costs and requirements. Also ask if your tent meets all Norfolk County Fire Dept. regulations.
If you've paid the Port Dover Board of Trade for a spot and on the day of the event you do not have proper licensing from Norfolk County, you are subject to a fine enforced by Bylaw. The Port Dover Board of Trade will not refund your payment for the lot due to your own negligence.
4 - Vendors setting up on private property must have written permission from the property owner. It must be within a commercially zoned area and will also require licensing from Norfolk County. Bylaw will ask for your permission slip and license. If neither can be produced, you could be subject to a fine. Again, contact the county to inquire about permits and requirements for private property vending.
5 - All vendors will be placed in a spot and must remain there for the duration of the event. If at any time you decide to move your booth to an alternate location, you will be told to shut down your booth and will not be invited back. Bylaw will have a list of locations from our committee where vendors are to be. If you are not where you should be, Bylaw may believe you have entered the event without permission, and may shut you down. The County will have a list of all the vendors that we have approved to attend this event. If your name is not on the list you will not have the opportunity to secure licensing from Norfolk County for the event.
6 - Please note: Port Dover Board of Trade does not offer hydro, sewer, or water in the Elmer Lewis Parking Lot. This is a paved parking lot area, so tent pegs are not allowed.
7 - Dumpsters are provided for garbage disposal. Please take advantage of this service.
8 - Port Dover Board of Trade assumes no responsibility for loss or damage, however caused. Rain or shine or snow, there are no refunds.

The Friday the 13th committee works to ensure the success of the day for all. If it determines any vendor did not honour their agreement on event day, they will NOT be invited back. Due to limited space in Port Dover, we must fill available space with responsible vendors who are willing to work with our team to make our event safe for all those attending our event.
