PORT DOVER RESIDENT INFORMATION

The Resident Pass is designed to make it easier for residents to get to and from their homes during Friday the 13th events as quickly as possible. Your driver's license showing your Port Dover address will also get you through the road blocks but slows down traffic. It is always easier to have any guests arrive in town the day before, if possible. If you have guests arriving on Friday the 13th, they will need one of your Resident Passes if a police road block is in place.

Every household received two PD13 Resident Passes in 2010 that are valid until 2012. Keep them in a safe place -- perhaps the dash compartment of your vehicle -- so they are available for each event.

Replacement of lost or damaged PD13 Resident’s Vehicle Passes will be issued at cost, subject to proof of residence and vehicle registration -- while supplies last. As in all previous events, you are asked to use this pass responsibly in the following manner:

  • Each household in Port Dover received two new multi-year PD13 Resident’s Vehicle Passes in the mail. Only residents or individual business or property owners in the town of Port Dover are eligible to receive a PD13 Resident’s Vehicle Pass.
  • Please display the PD13 Resident’s Vehicle Pass on your rear view mirror or dashboard to ensure speedy entry into Port Dover during Friday 13th events.
  • An Ontario Drivers' License with a Port Dover address will serve to get through police road blocks. A limited number of passes are available by contacting Port Dover Board of Trade office at 19 Market Street West, Port Dover in person with proof of residency.
  • Local businesses requiring additional passes for employees can contact Port Dover Board of Trade, 19 Market Street West, Port Dover or info@pd13.com or phone 519-583-1314 to request additional PD13 Resident’s Vehicle Passes while supplies last.

We welcome your comments and feedback to better plan for future Friday 13th motorcycle events. Please visit our website at www.pd13.com or email info@pd13.com
